Ingredients

6chicken breasts,boneless skinless

2cupssalsa verde

beer,1 bottle

2tspcumin

salt and black pepper

1jalapeno,optional, stem removed and diced

Preparation

Add the chicken to the slow cooker, then top with the salsa verde, beer, cumin, and season with a few generous pinches of salt and a pinch of pepper.

Use a pair of tongs or a spoon to turn the chicken to coat.

Cover and cook for 3 to 4 hours on High heat, or 7 to 8 hours on Low heat.

Shred the chicken in the slow cooker, then toss with the juices.

Remove the chicken with a slotted spoon.

Serve warm, and enjoy!
