Ingredients
6large whole eggs
¼cupheavy cream
1tspsalt
¼tspground black pepper
16ozJimmy Dean Hot Roll Sausage,(1 package), cooked, crumbled, drained
¼cupjalapeno pepper,¼-inch dice
½cupcheddar cheese,shredded
2tbspgarlic,minced
1tspcumin,ground
4bread slices,½-inch thick
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix the eggs and heavy cream in a bowl with salt and pepper. In a separate bowl, place the sausage, jalapeno pepper, cheese, garlic, and cumin.
Place ⅓ of the amount of egg mixture in the bottom of a 2-quart baking dish. Then, place a slice of bread into the dish. Add ⅓ of the amount of sausage mixture from the previous onto the slice of bread.
Repeat until the last slice of bread is on top. Add the remaining ⅓ of sausage ingredients evenly across the top slice of bread.
Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
Serve warm, and enjoy!
