Ingredients

1/2 cup butter, softened

4 ½ cups confectioners’ sugar

1 ½ tsp. vanilla extract

6 tbsp. milk, as more or less as needed

Preparation

In a large bowl, cream butter until light and fluffy.

Beat in the confectioners’ sugar, vanilla and enough milk to achieve desired consistency.

Serve immediately to ensure optimal freshness.

If preparing in advance, keep refrigerated or frozen in an airtight container. When ready to use, let it come to room temperature and re-whip to a fluffy texture.
