Ingredients
3cupsflour
½tspsalt
1tbapcinnamon
½tspallspice
2tspbaking powder
3eggs
¼cupsugar
1tbspvanilla
1cupapple cider
1cupwhole milk
vegetable oil,for frying
powdered sugar,for dusting
ice cream,optional
Preparation
Combine the flour, salt, cinnamon, allspice, and baking powder in a bowl.
In a separate bowl, combine the eggs, sugar, and vanilla. Blend.
Add the apple cider and milk. Blend until well incorporated.
Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, then blend until it reaches a smooth and creamy batter.
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep skillet. Transfer the batter into a zipper bag and trim the corner.
Pour the batter in funnel cake shapes into the hot oil. Once golden brown, flip and cook the other side for about 1 minute.
Remove and drain on paper towel.
Dust with powdered sugar and top with ice cream, and enjoy!
