Ingredients
3cupspeeled gala apples,sliced, about 4
1cupfresh cranberries
1tbspflour,or cornstarch for gluten-free
½tspCinnamon
⅔cuppure maple syrup
Cooking spray
¾cupdry quick-cooking oats,check lables for gluten-free
¼cuplight brown sugar,packed
1tbspall-purpose flour,or gluten-free flour mix
3tbspwhipped butter,melted, or dairy free butter
¼cupwalnuts,chopped, or pecans
¼tspsalt
Preparation
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Lightly spray a 9-inch square baking dish with cooking spray.
Combine apples and cranberries along with the rest of the filling ingredients in a bowl.
Pour into a baking dish and even out with a spoon.
In another bowl, combine the topping ingredients. Sprinkle over the apple or cranberry mixture.
Bake uncovered for 55 to 60 minutes or until browned and bubbly. Serve warm.
