Ingredients
1packageFlatout Artisan Thin Pizza Crust,6 peices
½cupbutter
⅔cupsugar
1½tbspcinnamon
3mediumgranny smith apples
2tbspwater
2tbspbutter
1tspcinnamon
4tbspsugar
1tbspcornstarch
Preparation
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Combine cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl.
Cut out three 3¼-inch circles from each Flatout Thin Crust Pizza Crust. Generously brush both sides with butter and dip each side in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Press into a standard-sized muffin tin and bake 12 to14 minutes or just until set.
Peel, core and chop apples into bite sized pieces.
Combine butter, cinnamon, apples, sugar, and 2 tablespoons of water.
Cover and cook stirring occasionally for 5 to 7 minutes or until softened.
In a small dish combine cornstarch and 2 tablespoons of water. Add to pan while stirring and continue to cook until apples are soft and filling is thickened. Let it bubble for 1 minute. Cool.
Just before serving spoon apple mixture into cinnamon sugar shells. Top whipped cream or ice cream if desired.
