Ingredients
1french baguette
1cupcheddar cheese,shredded sharp
½cupbutter,softened
½cupbacon,cooked chopped
¼cupgreen onions,chopped
2tspdijon mustard
½tspgarlic,minced
1tsplemon juice
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Slice the bread into 1-inch slices, but do not cut all the way through the bottom.
In a small bowl combine the remaining ingredients. Pour the cheese mixture between the slices of bread.
Wrap loaf in foil and bake 10 to 15 minutes until cheese is melted.
