1lbfresh asparagus,trimmed

2tbsponion,diced

2tbspcelery,diced

2tbspdry bread crumbs

2tbspparmesan cheese,grated

¼tspsalt

¼tspground black pepper

¼tspdried oregano

¼tspground thyme

2tomato slices

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Coat a baking dish with melted butter and arrange asparagus in a single layer. Sprinkle the onion, celery, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, oregano, and thyme over asparagus; top with tomato slices.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes until asparagus is tender and the top is golden brown.
