Ingredients
1½cupsall-purpose flour
3½tspbaking powder
¼tspsalt
4tspwhite sugar
1¼cupsmilk
1egg
4tbspbutter,melted
2bananas,sliced
1lbstrawberries,sliced
1cupNutella
1cupheavy cream
2tbsppowdered sugar
½cupsemisweet chocolate chips
Preparation
Add the dry ingredients and whisk together then add the wet ingredients and combine fully.
Heat a pan or griddle on medium-low heat and coat with a small layer of butter.
Using a tablespoon measure, use about ¾ of a tablespoon of batter.
Cook the pancakes on both sides until lightly browned for about 45 seconds on each side.
Cool the pancakes.
To make the whipped cream, add the heavy cream and the powdered sugar to a bowl and whip until the cream is firm and holds a peak and keep refrigerated until just ready to use.
To make the pancake bites, add one pancake, then a small spoonful of Nutella topped with a sliced strawberry, some whipped cream, another strawberry, a second pancake, a banana slice, and some chopped chocolate chips.
Skewer gently, especially with the whipped cream layer.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
