Ingredients
1lbground beef
1onion,diced
2garlic cloves,minced
1green pepper,diced
1pkgMcCormick® Taco Seasoning mix
2½cupswater,divided
1cupsalsa
8oztomato sauce
1¼cupselbow macaroni,uncooked
1cupcheddar cheese,shredded, divided
Preparation
Brown the beef, onion and garlic in a skillet for 5 to 6 minutes until no pink remains. Drain any fat.
Add the McCormick® Taco Seasoning Mix, green pepper, 2 cups of water, salsa, tomato sauce and macaroni.
Cover, then simmer over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally for 20 minutes or just until pasta the is tender. Add remaining water as needed.
Remove from heat, then stir in the cheddar cheese.
Serve warm, and enjoy!
