Ingredients

2 ½ lbs. ground chuck meat

16 oz. tomato sauce, cans

3 onions, finely chopped

1 tsp. cayenne red pepper

1 tsp. cinnamon

1 tbsp. all spice

1 tbsp. white vinegar

1 tsp. garlic salt

7 tsp. chili powder

1 qt. water

mozzarella cheese, shredded

salt , to taste

pepper , to taste

vegetable oil, enough for sauté

Preparation

In a large skillet, or kettle, sauté onion until transparent, add water and meat.

Break meat into bits.

Add all other ingredients.

Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer covered 3 hours, stirring occasionally.

Sprinkle with cheese before serving.

This versatile chili can be eaten alone or served with your favorite hot dog.

Freezes well.
