Ingredients

1French Bread loaf,large, cut into 1-inch sticks

1⅔cupmilk

6large eggs

¾cuppumpkin puree

2tspvanilla extract

2tbspgranulated sugar

½cuplight brown sugar,plus 2 tbsp, packed, divided

2tspground cinnamon

½tspground nutmeg

¼tspground ginger

2tbspbutter

Preparation

Bake the bread in a 275 degrees F oven for 10 minutes.

Add the milk, eggs, pumpkin, vanilla, sugar, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger in a bowl together, rhen whisk until combined.

Put ½ tablespoon of butter in a pan or large griddle.

Dunk the bread into the custard, then cook on a griddle on medium heat until browned on all sides.

Roll the sticks in the ½ cup of brown sugar, then place it back on the griddle; cooking until the brown sugar is melted on all sides.

Serve with maple syrup, or enjoy as is!
