Ingredients

30ozchickpeas,2 cans, drained and rinsed

5garlic cloves,peeled

¼cupwater,or 2 tbsp water + 2 tbsp olive oil

¼cuptahini

¼cupblue cheese,crumbled, optional

8tbsphot sauce,to taste

2tbsplemon juice,freshly-squeezed

1½tspsmoked paprika

1tspground cumin

½tspsalt

¼tspfreshly-ground black pepper

olive oil,chopped roasted red peppers, thinly-sliced green onions, extra crumbled blue cheese, optional toppings

Preparation

Add the chickpeas, garlic, water, tahini, blue cheese, hot sauce, lemon juice, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper to a food processor or blender.

Pulse until combined. Add more hot sauce to taste, if desired.

Serve with desired dippers, garnished with olive oil and other toppings, and enjoy!
