Ingredients

2tbspolive oil

3onions,chopped

¾cuplentils

2½cupswater

1cupfine grain bulgur

1salt,to taste

pepper,to taste

caramelized onion,for serving

Preparation

Over medium heat, pour the olive oil into a pot. Add the chopped onions, lentils, and water. Cover the pot and simmer the lentils.

Add the bulgur, salt, and pepper. Cover the pot and cook over low heat until the bulgur is cooked.

Serve with caramelized onions.
