Ingredients
2tbspgarlic powder
2tbsponion powder
1tbspfine sea salt
1tbspground black pepper
1baby back pork ribs rack
¾cupbarbeque sauce,or to taste
1 (6×18-inch) cedar plank
Preparation
Mix the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper together in a small bowl. Spread over the baby back ribs.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 8 hours to overnight.
Place the plank on a rimmed baking sheet and pour in enough water to cover. Let soak before grilling for about 1 hour. Drain.
Preheat an outdoor grill to about 500 degrees F. Place the plank on the grate and heat for about 5 minutes until slightly blackened. Flip the plank and place the ribs on top. Lower heat and cover the grill.
Cook the ribs, sprinkling some water on top every 30 minutes to create steam inside the grill, for about 3 hours until tender.
Uncover the grill and increase heat to high. Brush the barbeque sauce over ribs. Cook for about 2 minutes until ribs are dark brown.
Serve and enjoy.
