1garlic cloveminced
1½cupshash brownsfrozen, diced
¼cupbarbecue sauce
1tspyellow mustard
1tbspketchup
¾cupbeef broth
2tspcornstarch
1½cupscheddar cheeseshredded
1cupOriginal Bisquick baking mix
1egg
½cupmilk
½cupcheddar cheeseshredded
¼tspsesame seeds
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Brown the ground beef, garlic and onion over medium heat in a skillet until no pink remains. Drain any fat.
Stir in the diced hash brows, then cook for 3 minutes.
Combine the barbecue sauce, mustard, ketchup, broth and cornstarch in a small bowl.
Add to the meat mixture, then bring to a boil and let simmer for 3 minutes until thickened.
Pour the mixture in a a 9-inch pie pan.
Top with 1½ cups of cheddar cheese.
In a medium bowl, mix together the Bisquick, egg, milk and the remaining cheese.
Spread them over meat mixture, then sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until topping is cooked through.
Serve warm, and enjoy!
