Ingredients

4cupsfresh broccoli,cut into bite sized pieces

4cupsfresh cauliflower,cut into bite sized pieces

4tbspbutter,divided

2tbspall-purpose flour

1cupmilk

¼tspsalt

3ozcream cheese

¼tspgarlic powder

¼tspblack pepper

½tspdry mustard powder

1cupsharp cheddar cheese,shredded

½cupPanko breadcrumbs

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Combine 2 tablespoons of butter with bread crumbs, then set aside.

Boil the cauliflower in a large pot for about 2 minutes. Add in the broccoli and cook for about 2 minutes more, or until tender-crisp. Drain well.

In a saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add in the flour, stirring until smooth. Add the milk, whisking constantly over medium heat, until thick and bubbly.

Stir in the salt, cream cheese, garlic powder, black pepper, and mustard powder until smooth. Add in the cheddar cheese.

Toss with broccoli and cauliflower. Top with breadcrumbs mixture.

Bake for about 20 to 25 minutes or until heated through.
