Ingredients

1½cupswhite sugar

2cupssifted all-purpose flour

1tspsalt

1tspBaking Soda

1tspground cinnamon

1cupvegetable oil

3eggs,beaten

1cupchopped walnuts

21ozcherry pie filling

Preparation

Grease and flour a 9 by 13-inch pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C ).

Toss sugar, sifted flour, salt, soda, and cinnamon together in a large bowl.

Fold in oil, eggs, chopped nuts, and pie filling. Pour batter into prepared pans.

Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until cake tests done.
