Ingredients

1½cupsMorningstar Farms® Meal Starters™ Chik’n Strips

½cupolive oil vinaigrette salad dressing

2tbspfresh basil,chopped

1tbspolive oil

1large sweet onion

1tspsugar

1red pear

6cupsmesclun,or torn mixed spring greens

¼cupwalnut pieces

¼cupgorgonzola cheese,crumbled

Preparation

In small bowl stir together salad dressing and basil. Set aside.

In large nonstick skillet heat 2 teaspoons of olive oil. Stir in onion and sugar. Cook over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown, stirring frequently.

Stir in pear slices, Chik’n Strips, and remaining oil. Cook and stir for 1 to 2 minutes or until heated through.

Arrange the mesclun on 4 serving plates. Top with pear mixture.

Sprinkle with walnuts and cheese. Drizzle with salad dressing mixture.

Serve immediately, and enjoy!
