Ingredients
2½lbschicken breast hlaves,boneless, skinless
¾cupchicken broth
½cupZesty Italian Salad dressing
1tbspfresh lime juice
1tbspchili powder
2tsponion powder
1tspgarlic powder
1tsppaprika
1tspcumin
1tspsalt
½tspfreshly ground black pepper
½tspcayenne pepper,adjust according to desired heat preference or omit, optional
Preparation
Place the chicken breast halves in the slow cooker.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the remaining ingredients.
Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker, cover slow cooker with the lid.
Cook the chicken on Low heat for 5 to 6 hours.
Shred the chicken, then cook the shredded chicken in broth in the slow cooker for an additional 20 minutes on Low.
Drain the broth from the chicken.
Serve warm in tacos, burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas, taquitos, etc.
