Ingredients

¾cupgranulated sugar

1cuporange juicefreshly squeezed recommended

12ozfresh cranberriesor frozen

2tsporange zestplus more for garnish

pinchsalt

Preparation

Place the sugar and orange juice in a medium pan over medium high heat.

Bring to a simmer.

Add the cranberries, orange zest and salt.

Simmer for 8 to 10 minutes or until the cranberries have burst.

Let the cranberry orange sauce sit at room temperature until cool.

Serve on desserts or main dishes, and enjoy!
