Ingredients
1lblarge shrimp,peeled, deveined and tails removed
1tbspolive oil
salt and pepper
16ozfettuccini noodles
½cupbutter
2cupsheavy whipping cream
4ozcream cheese
½tspgarlic,minced
1tspgarlic powder
1tspItalian seasoning
¼tspsalt
¼tsppepper
1cupparmesan cheese,grated
Preparation
In a medium sized skillet over medium high heat add shrimp and olive oil. Cook the shrimp 2 to 3 minutes until they are cooked throughout and opaque. Remove the shrimp and set aside on a plate.
In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the fettuccini and cook until al dente. Drain.
Meanwhile, prepare the Alfredo sauce. Add butter, heavy whipping cream, and cream cheese. Cook over medium heat and whisk until melted.
Add the minced garlic, garlic powder, italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Continue to whisk until smooth.
Add the grated parmesan cheese and let simmer until it starts to thicken. Add shrimp and pasta to the sauce and toss to coat.
Serve and enjoy!
