Ingredients

5chicken thighs,boneless skinless, can also use breasts

salt and pepper

4tbspbutter,divided

3clovesgarlic,minced

1tbspfresh thyme,chopped

1tbspfresh basil,chopped

1tbspfresh oregano,chopped

4ozmushrooms,sliced

1cupheavy cream

½cupchicken broth

½cupparmesan cheese,freshly grated

salt and pepper,to taste

fresh herbs,to garnish

Preparation

In a large skillet, add 2 tablespoons butter and cook the chicken on medium high heat for 3 to 5 minutes on each side or until brown on each side and cooked until no longer pink in center. Remove chicken and set aside on a plate.

Add 2 tablespoons butter and melt. add garlic, fresh herbs and mushrooms. Saute for 1 to 2 minutes. Add the heavy cream, chicken broth, and parmesan cheese. Whisk over medium high heat until it starts to thicken.

Garnish with fresh herbs, chopped parsley, and freshly grated parmesan cheese.
