Ingredients
7cupspopcornplain, popped
4cupscrispy rice cerealsuch as Chex
2cupspretzelsmini
1½cupsFisher Pecan Halves
½cupunsalted butterdiced into 1 tbsp pieces
1cuplight brown sugarpacked
⅓cup light corn syrup
1pinchsalt
1tspvanilla extract
¼tspbaking soda
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Line a rimmed 18 x 13-inch baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat, then set aside.
Add popped popcorn, rice cereal, pretzels and pecans to an extra large mixing bowl, then set aside.
Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
Add in brown sugar and corn syrup then bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly.
Once it reaches a boil, reduce heat to medium-low and allow to boil, without stirring, for 4 to 5 minutes.
Remove from heat, then whisk in vanilla and baking soda.
Pour the mixture over the popcorn then quickly but gently toss to evenly coat.
Spread mixture evenly into prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
Remove from the oven, toss the mixture then spread them into an even layer.
Return to the oven and bake for 15 minutes more.
Remove from oven, let cool then break into bite size pieces.
