Ingredients
2tbspsalted butter,(28g), diced into 4 pieces
1cupsemi-sweet chocolate chips,(6 oz)
½cupbittersweet chocolate chips,(3 oz)
2cupsmini marshmallows,(104g)
⅓cupmilk,(80ml), whole or 2%
1tspvanilla extract
1¾cupsheavy whipping cream,(415ml)
6ozOreo pie crust,store-bought
1cupheavy cream,(235ml)
2tbspgranulated sugar,(25g)
chocolate shavings,for garnish
Preparation
Add butter, milk, semi-sweet chocolate chips, bittersweet chocolate chips and marshmallows to a large saucepan.
Heat over low heat, stirring constantly until chocolate and marshmallows have melted.
Remove from heat, stir in vanilla pour into a large mixing bowl and let cool, about 45 to 60 minutes.
Whip heavy cream, preferably in a chilled bowl, until very stiff peaks form. Fold into cool chocolate mixture.
Pour chocolate mixture into Oreo crust and spread into an even layer.
Chill in refrigerator 3 hours.
For the topping, whip cream with sugar using an electric hand mixer until stiff peaks form.
Spread over pie, garnish with chocolate then cut into slices. Store pie in refrigerator.
