Ingredients
2cupsall purpose flour
1¾cupsquick cooking oats
1cupsbrown sugar,packed
1tspbaking soda
1cupbutter,melted
14ozcaramels,unwrapped
⅓cupmilk
1½cupssemi sweet chocolate chunks
1cupmilk chocolate chips
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Line a 9×13 pan with foil, grease well, and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, and baking soda. Stir in the butter until well mixed.
Press half of the oat mixture into the prepared pan, then top it with the chocolate chunks and chips.
Microwave the milk and caramels at 70% power for 3 to 4 minutes until smooth, stirring as needed.
Pour the caramel over the chocolate and the crust, then sprinkle remaining oat mixture over top gently pressing to stick.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
Cool completely, then cut into bars.
