Ingredients
1tspbutter
1flour tortilla
2ozcheddar,or mozzarella, or Monterey Jack cheese, or a combination of all three
tomato,sliced
browned meat,or tofu
scallions,chopped
avocado,diced
sprouts
bell pepper,diced
Preparation
Melt the butter in the skillet on medium heat.
Put the tortilla in the pan.
Next, put the cheese and, if desired, add 1 to 2 fillings on ½ of the tortilla.
Use the spatula to fold the other side of the tortilla over the fillings.
Cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
Flip the quesadilla over, and cook 2 to 3 minutes more.
Let the cheese cool for 1 minute before taking a bite.
If desired, put a little guacamole on top for extra flavor.
