Ingredients

¼cuphoisin sauce

¼cupwater

1tbspsoy saucelow sodium

1½tspcornstarch

½tspsesame oil

¼tspred pepper flakes

salt & black pepperto taste

6ozramen noodles(2 packages) discard flavor packet

1cupcabbagesliced

2tspoil

4cupsvegetablessliced (A combination of bell peppers, carrots, snap peas and bean sprouts)

2garlic clovesminced

½tspfresh gingergrated

Preparation

Whisk sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Set aside.

Bring 4 cups of water to a boil and stir in ramen. Cook for 3 minutes and drain. Reserve 1 cup of the pasta water.

Cook vegetables in a skillet for about 3 to 4 minutes or until tender-crisp.

Add ginger and garlic and cook for 1 minute more.

Add sauce and simmer for about 3 to 5 minutes until sauce thickens.

Stir in noodles. Add pasta water a little at a time to reach desired consistency.
