Ingredients
1lbgreen beans,ends trimmed
1½cupsall purpose flour,divided
1cupbeer
1¾tspkosher salt
½tspblack pepper
¼tspgarlic powder
¼tsponion powder
oil,for frying
1tbspfresh parsley,chopped
Preparation
Heat 3 inches of oil in a deep pot to 375 degrees F.
Coat the green beans in ½ cup of flour, shaking off any excess.
In a medium bowl, mix together the remaining cup of flour, beer, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Coat each green bean in the batter, letting the excess batter drip back into the bowl.
Fry 8 to 10 green beans at a time for about 3 to 4 minutes until golden brown.
Place the breaded green beans on a plate with a paper towel to drain.
Repeat the process with the remaining green beans.
Sprinkle with parsley, then serve, and enjoy!
