Ingredients

5cupsblueberries

¾cupgranulated sugar

3tbspall purpose flour

1tbsplemon juice

tspsalt

½crumb topping*,(see Recipe in Recipes Notes)

pie crust**,(see Recipe in Recipes Notes)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine the blueberries or other fruit with the granulated sugar, flour, lemon juice, and salt. Pour into the pie crust and sprinkle with some crumb topping.

Place on foil-lined baking sheet in lower third of oven, then reduce heat to 350 degrees F.

Bake for about 1 hour and 30 minutes until fruit bubbles and crust browns. If topping begins to brown too quickly, tent with foil.

Let cool 6 hours.

Serve warm and enjoy!
