Ingredients
14oztomato sauce
15ozkidney beans,rinsed and drained
2tbspchili powder
1tbspwhite sugar
cayenne pepper,1 pinch, optional
1lbground beef
2tbspchili powder
1tbspwhite sugar
1tspcooking oil
½red onion,chopped
1banana pepper,chopped
1apple,peeled, cored, and chopped
1peach,peeled, pitted, and chopped
Preparation
Combine the tomato sauce, kidney beans, chili powder, sugar, and cayenne pepper in a large sauce pan.
Bring to a simmer over low heat.
Place a large skillet over medium-high heat, then place the ground beef in the skillet.
Cook the beef until brown, then add it to the sauce mixture.
Heat the oil in a small skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook the onion in the oil until slightly browned, then add it to the sauce mixture, along with the apple, peach, and banana pepper.
Allow to simmer for another 1 to 2 minutes until hot.
