Ingredients
24ozfresh tomatoes,(4 to 5 roma tomatoes or 3 to 4 regular tomatoes), diced small
1clovegarlic,minced
¼cupfresh basil,chopped finely
2tbspolive oil
1tbspred wine vinegar
½tspsalt,or to taste
½tsppepper,or to taste
1baguette
olive oil,for toasting
fresh garlic clove,for toasting
Preparation
Dice tomatoes about ¼ inches and lightly drain.
Mix all ingredients and let stand at room temperature for at least 1 hour.
Slice the baguette, brush with olive oil and toast or grill until lightly browned. Rub each toasted slice baguette with a clove of raw garlic.
Top with tomato mixture.
