Ingredients
4tbspunsalted butter
1tbspolive oil
½onionchopped, optional
1lbcremini mushroomsor button mushrooms
2tbspdry white wineoptional
1tspfresh thyme leaveschopped
2tbspfresh parsleychopped
4garlic clovesminced
Salt and pepperto taste
Preparation
Heat the butter and oil in a large pan or skillet over medium-high heat.
Sauté the onion for 3 minutes until softened.
Add the mushrooms and cook for about 4 to 5 minutes until golden and crispy on the edges.
Pour in the wine and cook for 2 minutes, to reduce slightly.
Stir in the thyme, 1 tablespoon of parsley and garlic.
Cook for a further 30 seconds or until fragrant.
Season generously with salt and pepper to taste.
Sprinkle with remaining parsley, serve warm, and enjoy!
