2cupsheavy cream,no substitutes
2cupswhole milk
½cupwhite sugar,plus 3 tablespoons
1tspvanilla extract
⅛tspsalt
1cupgolden oreos,chopped into large pieces
⅓cuppeanuts,chopped
sprinkles,to top with
Preparation
In a large bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, white sugar, vanilla, and salt. Stir until all of the sugar is completely dissolved.
Pour the mixture into the ice cream machine and freeze the ice cream according to the machine’s instructions.
When there is 2 to 3 minutes remaining, stir in the golden oreos and peanuts.
Serve immediately, topped with a handful of sprinkles or transfer to an airtight container in the freezer.
