Ingredients
2ripe avocados,halved and pitted
½small onion,minced
1tbspfresh lime juice
1jalapeno pepper,seeded and minced
2tbspfresh cilantro,chopped
1clovegarlic,minced
½tspkosher salt
freshly ground black pepper,to taste
1Roma tomato,finely chopped
4Texas toast slices
4Havarti cheese slices
2tspbutter,or to taste
Preparation
Mash avocados in a large bowl. Add onion, lime juice, jalapeno, cilantro, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined. Stir tomato into the guacamole.
Spread desired amount of guacamole over 2 bread slices. Top each with 2 slices of Havarti cheese. Cover with the remaining 2 slices of bread, then butter the outside.
Heat a skillet to medium-high heat. Cook sandwiches for 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown on the bottom. Flip and cook for 2 to 3 minutes more until the other side is browned.
