Ingredients

1cuplight brown sugar

1cupwhite sugar

5bananas,overly ripe

⅔cupbuttermilk

1cupcanola oil

¼tspsalt

2tspvanilla extract

2eggs

2egg yolks

2½cupsflour

2½tspbaking soda

2tsplemon juice

Preparation

In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, white sugar, oil, buttermilk, vanilla, salt, eggs, and egg yolks and let it sit for about 2 hours or until the sugar has dissolved.

After 2 hours, in a separate bowl, combine flour and baking soda. Add this baking soda mixture into the sugar mixture and combine lightly.

Mash the bananas on a flat, covered surface and add lemon juice.

Then, add the mashed bananas to the previous mixture and combine.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Grease two loaf pans and pour the mixture into the pans evenly.

Bake for 55 minutes, let cool, slice, and serve.
