Ingredients

½cupsalsa

3cupschickenor pork or beef, shredded

1½cupsMonterey Jack cheese

1tbsptaco seasoning

12corn tortillas6-inch

⅓cupoilfor frying, or to brush with

Preparation

Place salsa in a fine strainer and let the juices drip away.

Combine the chicken, salsa, cheese and taco seasoning.

Place tortillas on a plate, then top with a damp paper towel and microwave for 40 seconds or until warm.

Place 2 tablespoons of filling on each tortilla and roll tightly. Secure with a toothpick and place on a baking sheet.

Repeat with the remaining tortillas.
