Ingredients

2 oz green melon liqueur, preferably Midori, or green creme de menthe

2 oz coconut-flavored rum, preferably Malibu, or clear creme de cacao

2 oz milk

1 oz dark rum

1 oz cherry liqueur

¼ cup ice cream

Preparation

Fill up ⅓ of your chosen glass with ice.

Fill your shaker with ice then add all your liqueurs and milk. Leave out the cherry liqueur.

Shake vigorously, then strain into your glass.

Add the cherry liqueur just before serving. This will be the fake “blood” that gives the drink its name. Note that this effect disappears very quickly.
