Ingredients
1lbground beef
1large onion
1green bell pepper
2tbspflour
1lbboiling potatoes,(about 3)
2tbsppaprika
¼tspcayenne
1tspdried marjoram
1¼tspcaraway seeds
1¼tspsalt
1tbsptomato paste
3cupsbeef broth,low sodium
3cupswater
Preparation
Set a large pot over moderate heat. Add the ground beef and cook for about 2 minutes, stirring to break it up, until the meat is no longer pink.
Reduce the heat to moderately low. Add the onion and bell pepper and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables start to soften.
Stir in the flour. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute.
Add the potatoes, paprika, cayenne, marjoram, caraway seeds, salt, tomato paste, broth and water. Bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
Serve warm, and enjoy!
