Ingredients
1tbspavocado oil
4clovesgarlicminced
1tspgingergrated
2pcsgreen chillissliced lengthwise
½cupyellow mung moong dal
½cupurad dal
¼cupchana dal
5cupswater
Preparation
Set the instant pot to ‘Saute’ mode.
Add avocado oil, garlic, ginger, and green chilis.
Wash all three dals (lentils) and add to the instant pot.
Add water, salt and turmeric then mix well. Then close the lid on the instant pot.
Press ‘Cancel’, then ‘Bean/Chili’ mode. Set the timer for 15 minutes.
Move valve to ‘Sealing position’.
Once done, serve with steamed rice, roti, or naan, and enjoy!
