Ingredients
1lblean ground beef,90% lean
3clovesgarlic,minced
¼cupbrown sugar,packed
¼cupsoy sauce,reduced sodium
2tspsesame oil
¼tspground ginger
¼tspred pepper flakes,crushed
¼tsppepper
2cupswhite rice,or brown, hot, cooked
green onions,sliced
sesame seeds
Preparation
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and garlic, breaking it into crumbles over medium heat until no longer pink.
In a small bowl, whisk brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, red pepper flakes and pepper. Pour over the ground beef and let simmer for another 1 or 2 minutes.
Serve over hot rice and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
