Ingredients
1.5lbschicken drumsticks,(6 drumsticks), rinsed
3tbspolive oil
1tbsplemon zest
2tbsplemon juice
4garlic cloves,(about 2 tsp), minced
1tspdried thyme
coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper,to taste
Preparation
Place the chicken, olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic, and thyme in a large bowl or Ziploc bag, then mix well to coat the chicken.
Cover, then refrigerate to marinate for 1 to 12 hours.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Remove the drumsticks from the marinade, then place them in a greased baking dish. Season with salt and pepper.
Bake for 45 to 55 minutes, or until the juices run clear.
For extra flavor, brush the drumsticks with more of the marinade 20 minutes into baking.
Serve warm, and enjoy!
