Ingredients

1½ozdark molasses rum

1ozlight pure cane rum

½ozorange liqueur,(Grand Marnier, Cointreau, or Curacao)

½ozorgeat syrup

¾ozlime juice,fresh

1dashAngostura bitters,or spritz using small spray bottle

lime,wheel, or mint sprigs, or pineapple slices, to garnish

2tbsphoney

2tbspwater

Preparation

Simply combine equal parts honey and water in a small saucepan and warm over low heat until you can thoroughly stir the honey into the water (or warm them together briefly in the microwave).

Fill a double old-fashioned glass with ice and set it aside to chill. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine both rums, the honey syrup, orange liqueur, orgeat syrup, and lime juice.

Shake. Strain the cocktail into the ice-filled glass. Evenly spritz the top of the drink with Angostura bitters and garnish with a lime wheel before serving.
