Ingredients

1cupmargarita mix

½tspsalt

1tbspwhite sugar

2garlic cloves,minced

¼cupvegetable oil

1lbtop sirloin steak,cut into 1½-inch cubes

16mushrooms,stems trimmed

1onion,cut into 1-inch chunks

1large red bell pepper,or green, cut into 1-inch pieces

Preparation

Combine the margarita mix, salt, sugar, garlic, and vegetable oil in a bowl or resealable plastic bag.

Toss the sirloin cubes in the marinade.

Marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat a grill to medium heat.

Assemble the skewers, alternating meat with mushrooms, onion, and bell pepper.

Brush the skewers with marinade, then discard the remaining marinade.

Grill the skewers for about 10 minutes for medium, or to desired doneness.
