Ingredients

½smallonion

2clovesgarlic

1lblean ground beef

¾lbdry macaroni noodles

28ozcrushed tomatoes

2tbsptomato paste

3cupsbeef broth

1beef bouillon cube

½tbspsugar

½tspdried parsley

½tspbasil

½tsporegano

1tbspchili powder

¾cupsharp cheddar cheese,shredded

Preparation

Set the pan over medium heat.

Add onion, beef, and garlic. Cook until no pink remains. Drain any fat.

Add remaining ingredients except cheese. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium low and cover.

Stirring occasionally, let cook for 13 to 17 minutes or until macaroni is cooked through.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve warm topped with cheese.
