Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 large onion, chopped

4 garlic cloves, chopped

24 oz diced tomatoes, two 14 oz cans, undrained

15 oz canned tomato sauce

1 tbsp chili powder

1 tsp ground cumin

1/2 tsp dried oregano

1/2 tsp salt

1/8 tsp pepper

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

15 oz canned red kidney beans, canned, rinsed and drained

15 oz canned black beans, canned, rinsed and drained

2 tbsp cornstarch

1/4 cup water

Preparation

Brown the ground beef in a large skillet until completely cooked, then drain.

Put all the ingredients except the cornstarch and water into the crockpot.

Stir, cover, and cook on low for 8 hours.

During the last 15 minutes of cooking, combine the cornstarch and water in a bowl.

Mix until smooth and add it to the crockpot. Stir well. Serve once done cooking.
