4country-style pork ribsrinsed, or more as needed
1dashseasoned saltto taste
1dashgarlic powderto taste
ground black pepperto taste
1tbspVegetable Oil
½yellow onioncut into wedges
¼cupfresh cilantroto taste
1cupmojo citrus marinade
1cupchicken broth
1splashorange juice
Preparation
Season ribs with seasoned salt, garlic powder, and black pepper.
Heat oil in a pressure cooker over medium heat. Add onion and cook and stir for about 5 minutes until soft,. Add cilantro. Add ribs; cook for about 3 minutes until browned on 1 side.
Turn and cook until the other side is browned for about 2 to 3 minutes more.
Pour in enough marinade to coat ribs; then continue to brown for about 3 minutes more. Add chicken broth and orange juice to cover ribs.
Close cooker securely and place pressure regulator over vent according to manufacturer’s instructions. Heat for about 5 minutes until steam escapes in a steady flow.
Reduce pressure and cook for 20 to 25 minutes until ribs are tender.
Let pressure release according to the manufacturer’s instructions for about 5 to 10 minutes. Unlock and remove the lid.
