Ingredients
oil,to taste
1tspchanna dal
2red chiles
2clovesgarlic
ginger,small bit
1large onion,chopped
salt,to taste
1tspaamchur powder,or small bit of tamarind
water,as needed
Preparation
Heat oil in a pan. Roast the channa dal, red chiles, garlic, and ginger.
Add the onion and salt. Cook on low heat until the onions become translucent and brownish. Turn off heat and let cool.
Blend the onions adding aamchur powder or tamarind. Sprinkle salt to taste. Add water as needed.
