Ingredients

6cupswater

1½cupspolenta,or yellow cornmeal

2tspkosher salt

¼tspfresh ground black pepper

3tbspbutter

¾cupheavy cream,or whole milk

¾cupsharp cheddar cheese,grated

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Add 6 cups of water into a Dutch oven. Stir in the polenta, salt, pepper, and butter.

Bake uncovered for 40 minutes.

Add in the cream and cheese, then stir to combine.

Bake for an additional 10 minutes, then stir until incorporated.

Serve garnished with more cheddar cheese, and enjoy!
