Ingredients
1½cupsItalian seasoned bread crumbs
5tilapia fillets
¼cupextra-virgin olive oil
¼cuphot salsa
Preparation
Put the bread crumbs into a shallow dish.
Gently press the tilapia fillets into the bread crumbs to coat. Gently toss between the hands so any bread crumbs that haven’t stuck can fall away.
Place the breaded tilapia onto a plate while breading the rest. Do not stack.
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook the tilapia in hot oil for about 4 minutes per side until golden brown. Transfer the cooked fillets to a plate.
Top each fillet with salsa. Cook in the microwave for about 15 seconds to get the salsa hot.
Serve and enjoy!
